Art therapy offer patients an opportunity to express their emotions while reducing stress, anxiety, and fear. For some the creative process is a form of communication and self expression while for others it is a chance to relax and leave cancer behind. Art therapy can include painting, dance, sculpting, photography, writing, music, collage, knitting, anything that allows for creative expression.
The Ridley-Tree Cancer Center offers a variety of Wellness programs to support patients from diagnosis, through treatment and life after treatment. Most programs are offered free-of-charge. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Wellness classes are currently being offered online via Zoom.
